Please send this evening, per passenger train, to Cricklewood, addressed for attention of Mr. Bellringer:- 1 Phantom III clutch plate to Ex.27309 with Thermoid facing. With regard to adjusting the fingers, will Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} please note that the compressed thickness of the new plate is approx. .375 as compared to .325 for standard, it will therefore be necessary to fit a .070 packing ring between clutch cover and flywheel, and when using the standard .325 gaage plate, the fingers should be set to 1.065 from the face of the cover plate.
