Summarising our views on the present position of the rtaionalised suspension. we consider that we have been remarkably fortunate in the way it has worked out. We can now go ahead lightening and cheapening it. We are sure that there is still a good deal of cost and weight to be got out of it. We appreciate that its vagaries have given the design department a difficult time, and commend the way in which the problems it presented have been overcome.

It is apparent from EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}'s note that the design department do not receive enough experimental reports to keep them 'au fait' with the progress being made, and this will be put right in the future.
