Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X219 To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}5/HP.21.4.33. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} re Bensport Rocker Shaft. The Experimental Shop have brought to our notice that the central pedestal of the rocker shaft can be placed in position on the cylinder head the wrong way round, so that the oil hole in the pedestal does not coincide with the oil supply. To safeguard against this possibility we think the bottom of the pedestal should be formed with a double slot, as shown on our modified drawing LeC.3457 herewith. RECEIVED 21 1938 E/JNR.{Charles L.
