CLUTCH & FLYWHEEL. 48300

I understand that this unit is:-
(1) 80 lbs. heavier than present 40/50., and
(2) Has 25% more inertia, (which is good, but perhaps unnecessary.)

Will AJS. look into this to see if we can reduce (1) considerably, but only alter (2) down to the same as the 40/50., and also at the same time reduce the cost of materials or machining.

We must keep on the lookout because vibration (torsionally) in the transmission may be more manifest with less inertia in the flywheel.
