-3- 11. GEAR BOX NOISY December quarter C.C. I C.P. I 3.AZ.20 - 12725 kms. - Fitted a new gear box & returned original one to Works. 12. PROPELLOR SHAFT PERIOD AT VERY HIGH SPEEDS. December quarter C.C. I C.P. I 3.AZ.20 - 12725 kms. - Fitted a C.82089 propellor shaft specially prepared by Works. 13. FRONT BRAKES. December quarter C.C. I C.P. I 3.AZ.20 - 3966 kms. - Dismantled front brakes in order to obtain more travel for adjustment purposes. The front brake mechanism has now been modified. 14. BRAKES FRONT BINDING December quarter C.C. I C.P. I 3.AZ.96 - 369 miles - Dismantled n/s drum & made pins free etc/. in operation. 15. FRONT BRAKES PULL TO ONE SIDE December quarter C.C. I C.P. I 3.AZ.20 - 3966 kms. - Dismantled drums & rebedded liners & corrected the external adjustment. 16. BRAKES REAR NOT FREE IN OPERATION December quarter C.C. 3 C.P. 3 3.AZ.140 - 3215 kms. - ( At the time of fitting strengthened 3.AZ.206 - new car ) and type differential casings 3.AZ.20 - 12725kms. - ( to the rear axle. We found that the rear hand & foot brake shoes were very stiff in operation, due to shoes having insufficient side play causing same to bind against one another. The above needs investigation by the Works. | ||
