B'ham. (struck through) X4516 HE.2/AD4.7.32. X5250 RADIATOR TESTS With reference to the attached report, it is interesting to note the improvement which has been made in the strip type radiators compared with the honeycomb type. The Marston Mark II copper strip radiator is the original Harrison U.S.A. for which they have obtained the rights in this country. Marstons are now a branch of Kynochs. The information as regards the latest Harrison matrix was brought back from U.S.A. by Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} It has always been surprising to us how the Americans have been able to satisfactorily cool their large 16-cylinder and 12-cylinder cars. This would not have been possible without the improvement they have been able to make in the efficiency of the radiators. We expect that Marstons will change over to manufacturing the latest Harrison strip matrix before very long. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Copy of report Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J.
