Please receive herewith :- E.CD.1126 Water Pump, Thermostat, Bye-pass and Connections. C.I. Conventional 8. This design shows the front end of the cylinder head with the water outlet connections and the thermostat bye-pass to the suction side of the water pump. The necessary modifications to the water pump casing are also shown along with the water inlet to the cylinder block; the water pump rotor and bearings etc. are unaltered. We have called for the water pump back plate to be made in .160 thick material, as the original plate in .144" material is not a stock gauge. This calls for a slight alteration to the fan driving pulley, the fan otherwise is as B.80. The thermostat casing should be moved outwards by .200" to agree with the dimensions on the design, when detailing, in order to improve clearances in a number of places. The remaining information for the cylinder head is shown on E.CD.1122. Will you please detail and instruct experimentally. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
