25-EX will have completed about 13,000 miles by the end of the week.

We have arranged for the car to be available for FN. on the 16th inst. and we have also arranged that the car shall be available for trial by any other officials next week i.e. the 9th to the 16th.

We consider that the car as now running will be representative of the effects that we expect to get from the diamond engine mounting even though minor modifications are subsequently made to improve the wearing qualities of the engine suspension. At the present moment, strengthened pieces have been fitted to the car and we also have the W.W. scheme which will be tested out on the bump and subsequently fitted to the car if there is a recurrence of the previous troubles.

The other items of interest on the car are the low rating suspension and improved shock absorbers and the cooling system, the high compression head and the long skirt pistons.
