Referring to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}9/KT.7.4.33, I note that you are arranging for the car and the men to be back in Derby to-morrow.

Sorry to see from another memo. to-day that part of the differential has now broken and shall be interested to hear more about it as soon as you have been able to examine the broken part.

You do not mention the second car but I believe from what you said the other day you expect to havé the complete car on the road very soon after Easter and that it will then go to France, but in view of the recent troubles with pistons and differential you may wish to make some modifications before sending it there.

With regard to No.3 which I note is likely to be completed two or three weeks after Easter I agree that it should be handed over to Sales to make their own tests, provided that in making this suggestion you are satisfied that you will be able to do all that you require with the other car.
