August 22nd., 1933.

Messrs.Lodge Plugs Ltd.,
Rugby.

For the attention of Mr.Bernard Hopps.

Dear Sir,

We have run into a definite trouble of missing on the pick up on K335 plugs. We have been running on Ethyl petrol but cannot guarantee that it is entirely responsible for the trouble.

We have now reproduced the failure more than once and are therefore sending to you under separate cover four of the set of six plugs. The remaining two we are keeping for our own investigations.

We shall be glad if you can give us immediate attention.

We think that Ethyl petrol may be the major factor, for our car running in France is not running on lead and as far as we now they have not had the difficulty over there.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
