X1775 TO: Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} D/DL.27.3.25. CJ writes as follows :- "Please enquire from the head of every department at Derby, and report to me as to whether it is understood by all who use the telephone for private purposes, that, before asking for the number, they should inform our operator that it is a private call. The operator will then make arrangements for the user to be charged for the call." CJ. | ||
