-2- I also appreciate the fact that experiments are in hand to make the clutch more oil-retaining. What I wish to bring to your notice is the fact that we are delivering to customers a car which in the hands of an ordinary user will have this "jaggering" trouble which is quite noticeable and objectionable and I anticipate we shall have complaints. In this matter I consider the oiling required to overcome the trouble is an attention which it will very probably receive. Although it may not be looked upon as a vital point to reliability, the vibration set up certainly appears to put a great strain on the chassis, especially the transmission, and innthe case of a failure or breakage "on the road" this feature may be advanced as a probable cause.
