Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 7th. instant and as instructed we have put in hand a piece of Ferodo Ferobestos L which will machine to a pulley 6.5" diameter x 2.25" wide. As we explained to you, our Works are closed for this week for plant overhaul and the above item will be put in hand immediately they reopen next week.

With regard to the tests on the tank fan, we are pleased to say that the necessary 'V' belt pulley has come to hand since we spoke to you this morning, and therefore, the rig should be ready for running tomorrow morning. The writer will give you a call tomorrow to inform you if it is satisfactory and available for test.

Regarding the list of 'V' belt lengths in sections 7/8" and 15/16" wide, this is being extracted from our records and will be sent to you tomorrow, or handed to you personally should you decide to visit us here in order to see the fan tests.

Yours faithfully,
