X.4333 GOSHAWK II ELECTRIC MOTOR.
XT4069

We send you herewith drawing No. LeC.1585 shewing the commutator for Goshawk II starter motor built up in the old fashioned style with micanite insulation and steel cones.

It is expected that you will be able after performing the usual operations to press the 2 pieces of the metal centre together with such a force that they will hold by themselves during the riveting up process shown on the inner end.

Mr. Royce would like you to alter the design sent through for this type of commutator on the dynamo, replacing the thread and nut with the riveted up form of end shown on LeC.1585

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
