The Rover Company Ltd.,
COVENTRY.

Dear Wilks,

Our Managing Director has expressed a desire to try one of your 10 h.p. cars. I do not know exactly why he wants to try it, but wonder whether you could fix him up.

He says he would like to run it for a week-end and that if a car is obtainable, Saturday November 18th. would suit him.

If it is of any interest to you we should be delighted to lend you a Wraith for the same week-end.

Thank you for sending the Studebaker car along. We should very much like to have the gearbox when you have finished drawing it.

As you will have gathered from the papers we have very few bombs on the Factory shoot this year, and you would not have had good value for money if you had taken a gun at the local Anti-Aircraft Battery.

Yours faithfully,
for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
