Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.6/MA. 81918A 7th May, 1934. Messrs.K.L.G.Sparking Plugs Ltd., Robinhood Engineering Works, Putney Vale, London, S.W.15. K.L.G. type 765A Sparking Plugs. Dear Sir, We thank you for your letter of the 5th instant reference CMC/MEN. in which you refer to the modification you have made to the above type of plug to prevent internal sparking. We have examined the sample plug sent to us and consider the modification you have made to be very desirable. Will you therefore kindly make up for us a set of 12 plugs as quickly as possible in order that we can get them fitted to a 10,000 mile test Bentley Car which is starting its test at the latter end of this week. As six plugs only will be required to get the car running perhaps it would be quicker if you sent us off six plugs in advance. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
