Re: SPEEDOMETER.
Further to our memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}2/ET.18.11.40 regarding the reversal of the rotation of the speedometer drive, it follows that the direction in which the indicating hand moves must also change since it is purely governed by the rotating magnet.
To change the direction of rotation of the drive without that of the hand would involve a rather costly alteration in the design of the instrument.
