With further reference to your Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}9/KW.7.2.33., we have now had an opportunity of examining the latest 1933 Buick instrument board. We were not particularly impressed with the illumination but we agree it is considerably better than our existing 20/25. There was still a certain amount of shadow effect and in some positions glare. These effects are inevitable with inside illumination by reflection. The most attractive feature and that which showed up the illumination to greater advantage was the legibility of the instruments, the figures being large and well defined. It was interesting to note that this Buick instrument board is a distinct departure in style from usual American practice where the instrument board is an ornate structure with rather small dials.
