-2- In testing each leaf separately, flat camber was assumed when the centre of the leaf was level with the ends, actually the leaf took a slightly waved form. The clips prevented measurements of the tapers being taken, therefore assuming the inner edges of theclips to be level with the limit of the tapered sections in each case, the length of taper was 1.875" the clips being 1" wide.
