contd :- -2- It occurs on either 'A' or 'D' steerings at the same speed. If the steering column is supported by means of a friction support, the vibration of the column can be easily eliminated, but the vibration which is the cause, can still be felt. The alteration to the controls appear to have made the pick-up of the car smoother so that this vibration does not appear as marked as it was. The 40/50 type of front silencer reduces the exhaust noise but the amount of noise at low speeds is definitely greater than on the 40/50 HP.
