Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Salt,
Experimental Department.

We confirm our telephone conversation of this morning, and thank you for sending back the short cylinder inserts which we originally supplied to your order No. 82013.

We have had these examined and find that there are seven in Hicrome and nine in Brivadium, and we tender you our apologies for having sent these away all marked Hicrome, which was a mistake on the part of the operator who etched these before packing.

We have now marked the nine in Brivadium, and all these are being returned to you today. We are sending these back on a no charge basis, so that our original invoice will stand.

We were rather puzzled this morning because we were two short, but we understand that these were actually not sent back to us, so that what you actually have is one in Brivadium and one in Hicrome, and if you are in doubt as to which is which, you may send them back, but we think

Cont'd......
