Hsl/LG28.3.28. DUNLOP TYRES. We are now satisfied that the Dunlop tyres with the new pattern tread are more silent than with the buttress tread. Our Sales are also satisfied with the improvement. These tyres have not such good road gripping qualities as the buttress tread. This is only what one would expect. We consider now, that the question of tyre noise is no longer up to the Expl: Dept: - it is for Sales to decide how and when these tyres should be fitted, and to make arrangements with Dunlops for a supply of them.
