To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from My/JW. RE - STANDARDISATION SHEET NO.4424, COARSER PITCH REAR AXLE GEARS - 20-HP. CHASSIS. We return herewith above-noted Standardisation Sheet from which it will be seen we estimate a saving in Cost of Axle quietening of approx: £4- 9- 0 per Chassis. We have qualified our statement with the word "probable" as it will be appreciated that it is not possible to give a definite figure with regard to Axle quietening, as the Costs fluctuate from week to week. To arrive at our figures, we have taken the Costs over the last 4 weeks, during which time coarser pitch Gears have been fitted in larger quantities than previously. My/JW. | ||
