contd :- -3- MANIFOLD. USUAL POSITION TO HOT SPOT The next curves give the rate of heating with the super-heat system; the standard exhaust curve being inserted for com-parison. The heating rate is increased by employing the small (.025) dia. feed hole but even then approx. 2 1/4 mins. elapse before there is any appreciable rise in temperature whereas the standard system responds immediately. After about 4 1/2 mins. running, the temperature reached is the same as that of the exhaust heated system after the same time, but it soon assumes a con-stant value of 95°C, while the other still contd :- GRAPH DATA: Title: SUPERHEAT SYSTEM.
