Messrs. S. Smith & Sons Ltd.,
Cricklewood Works,
LONDON.N.W.2.

For the attention of Mr. Grose.

Dear Sirs,

Regret delay in replying to your letter of July 21st. for which we thank you - we would very much like to test a sample booster blower unit to EX.X.10581 and will be glad to receive same at your earliest convenience.

With regard to the quotation mentioned, we think it would be best to await our official enquiry.

Have made some progress with the ventilating and heating scheme similar to that shown on your drawing and would like to show it to you when you are next in the neighbourhood, if you will let the writer know in advance. Our main difficulty is to get sufficient air from the blower unit for ventilation purposes, and yet keep the motor and fan inaudible (or nearly so)

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
