Further to JNR{Charles L. Jenner}1/JH/3.4.40. This is to confirm that we have handed to you samples of the Lincoln-Zephyr Crankshaft and the plugs to suit.

Will you please therefore produce a detail drawing from PL72 incorporating:
1) Integral balance Wts.
2) Minimum machining
2) Welsh plugs to replace oilers (on pins and journals)
3) Material & Specification 2051.
4) Brinell 241-269
5) Nose to suit Humber damper
6) Specify heat treatment in forging state. (machining to be continuous)
