Could you obtain an Austin 7. starter motor and send it down to us for our inspection, or as this is a 6 V.{VIENNA} machine and might not be suitable for actual use, if you know of another small starter motor such as the Riley 9., which is 12 V.{VIENNA}, perhaps you could obtain that.

The intention is to adapt it experimentally to the gear change of the epicyclic 3rd.
