We wish to use a 20 HP. gearbox fitted directly to the Royce motor in order to drive a shock absorber test rig.
The direct drive shaft to the gearbox will be coupled to the flywheel and the reduction in bottom gear is sufficient to enable us to get all that we want.
Attached are sketches of the bits we require to enable this modification to be carried out.
We should be obliged if you would put them through as soon as possible.
The only large piece is the casting which we think should be simplified as far as possible.
