We are sending to you herewith Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}S.105, shewing a revised layout of the steering column and seating on Vulture.

On measuring on Le. C.3639 the distance from the accelerator plate in the up position to the centre of the under edge of the steering wheel, we found this to be 27.750 ins. This dimension on the Bentley is 29.000 and also on 'F' steering P.2 and 25 HP. R.R. We do not think it can be reduced.

We have gained the amount lost, approximately by moving back the rear squab. This gives us a 21" rear cushion, which we want if we are to be like the present Continental P.2. The dash to back axle distance on Vulture is 4.5 ins. less than on P.2. Continental. We have recovered this lost amount by approximately:

(1) Rear seat 2" nearer the rear axle.

(2) Thickness of squab of front seat reduced 2.500" by not fitting tray type pockets.

The space between the back of the front seat and the front of the rear seat is not less than on the current P.2. Continental.

Will you please wire if I may assume the new column.

Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}
