We have been enforced to revert to the square type intermediate lever and shaft for the J.3. hydraulic dampers. By. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} is proposing to alter the dies for the dampers which are at present on production. In view of the short period which now remains before the J.3. type dampers go on test, we are particularly anxious to get two sets of square shaft levers, one of which we can bump, and one set which will be run in France. We should like to get a set of square shaft levers for 18.G.IV.
