For the attention of C.H.Fisher Esq.

Dear Sirs,

We have now arrived at what appears to be a satis-factory setting for the dual Stromberg carburetter on the six cylinder engine. This has been obtained on the AAV.26 model which we believe you described as a 1939 Cadillac type, with alteration only to the main metering and Economiser by-pass jets.

We have no service bulletin for this model, hence the enclosed specification obtained on our carburetter may not all be strictly true, but should serve to indicate which model we are using.

The two outstanding modifications which we should like making to the carburetter are :-

(a) An electrically operated choke control to replace the exhaust heated unit.

(b) An internal fast idle system to replace the external stepped cam mechanism.

The difficulties we find in building up our ideal carburetter are :-

(1) That the electric choke and the exhaust operated choke are offset in different directions.

(2) That we have not seen a throttle body with internal fast idle and provision for drilling an economiser vacuum passage.
