Now that we have a machine for dynamically balancing dynamo armatures we have observed that sparking at the commutator is considerably reduced.

We suggest, therefore, that you should have all the experimental armatures balanced in machines that you are testing and this may enable us to get a bit more output for a given temperature rise, which is so particularly desirable at the moment on the Bentley chassis.
