r6153. Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.5/MA.7.12.34. Replying to your Br.1/H.27.11.34., we have received a set of plugs with modified electrodes to prevent sooting up. These are in process of being tested. The totally screened system is a long way off as we have found one standard coil incapable of dealing with the extra capacitance load. You will be interested to know that we have at Derby a Phillips radio set which does not require any suppressors at all a filter circuit being incorporated in the set to by-pass ignition interference.
