20th April, 1939.

Dear Mr. Grylls,

Referring to our telephone conversation this morning, we thank you for your advice that you will be confirming to us that you will accept the 4.50 rim, 'E' flange height, for production order No. 89013 for Bentley equipment.

In connection with our drawing CDS.1551, we very much regret to hear that this indicates the old 'D' section rim, and it is rather difficult to account for this, as we were under the impression from our Postal Department that the drawing which they sent you was of the latest component and embodied in the left hand corner at the foot of the print, modifications E.307 and E.368. The date of the last modification was the 14th instant and referred to the rim contour.

If your copy is not in accordance with this, will you please return it and we will issue a replacement.

Yours faithfully,
For DUNLOP RUBBER CO., LTD.
