HB.{C. E. Harcombe} %EC COPY. X.4072. BY15/H28.6.20. X.4072 [strikethrough] CHASSIS EXHAUST FITTINGS. RE [underlined] NOZZLE OUTLET FROM SWAN NECK. I wish to emphasize the need for us/testing chassis with one of the above parts on in such a manner as to cause a number of misfires in the silencer, as this [underlined] is the only way I see of obtaining accurate data in regard to the piece in question. Mr. Royce is very anxious that we should get away on this job without delay. BJ. is also writing about it, and I have instructed Ms. to go ahead on the tools. If you are not in agreement with this last policy, kindly let us know at once. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} [Stamp] RECEIVED | ||
