We have had the first case of carrying out the modification C. to a 3 1/2 litre i.e. drilled crankshaft, main bearings grooved, large oil pump, new piston rings (lapped in). (Wear of cylinder bore .006" to .004") These bores were at the limit before re-boring was necessary. New conn. rod bearings. No holes in conn. rods. (old type.) Test on road 100 miles. No oil used.
