We have had the first case of carrying out the modification C. to a 3 1/2 litre i.e. drilled crankshaft, main bearings grooved, large oil pump, new piston rings (lapped in). (Wear of cylinder bore .006" to .004") These bores were at the limit before re-boring was necessary. New conn. rod bearings. No holes in conn. rods. (old type.)

Test on road 100 miles. No oil used. Oil pressure hot 12 lbs. idling 30 lbs. 80 M.P.H.
