The following are the main complaints during the last week. Axle tube failure on B.32.AH. This is an early type car with the weak axle tubes, which for some reason had not been changed for the modified tubes. B.126.JD.{J. Draper - Frames} Loss of oil pressure due to faulty joint of suction pipe at junction to filter body in sump. This joint can be tight, yet have an air leak and has given trouble on other cars. B.106.KO. The dynamo drive bush seized on the spindle. B.151.HM.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} A cracked piston was found during a top decarb. Report sent to Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} B.147.LE. While abroad the car caught fire behind the instrument boards. Reported by Paris. We have got the car at K.{Mr Kilner} and are investigating the cause. WRAITHS. There have been two new cars sent back to the Works for engine gear whine. Report sent to Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} WHE.81 had an exhaust blow from the down pipe manifold joint. This had not been modified. So far none of the modified cases have given trouble. There was also a sticking oil pressure gauge on this car. WHC.4 came in for misfires which were traced to dirt in the carburetter.
