File [handwritten] WYMAN [handwritten stamp] SILVER RIPPLE I, SILVER WRAITH I and SILVER DAWN I. HAND CHOKE CONTROLS. Please receive herewith :- E.CD.1412 Hand Choke Controls - Silver Ripple I, Silver Wraith I and Silver Dawn I. These controls follow the practice standard on the Wraith III, and are operated from the instrument board, the pull rod between dashboard and choke being arranged to eliminate any movement due to engine oscillation from being transmitted to the choke valve or operating lever. All the details between instrument board and dash are same as used on the Wraith III. The bracket and pivot for the bell crank lever on dashboard, are the same details as used for the Silver Phantom throttle control shown on E.CD.1376. The carburetter is a standard Wraith III unit. Will Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} please note required space for the controls on the dashboards, and Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/RD. arrange for the operating lever in the Wraith III position on the instrument boards. Please detail and instruct for the experimental cars. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
