re Bonnets for 8 cylinder engines
of the R.R. Range.

We attach herewith two prints of PL.166 showing the bonnet Widney unbroken line top hinge for the left hand Silver Phantom.

The bonnet top plates should be produced in steel with alum side plates.

The scheme used in conjunction with PD.285 layout of bonnet and FCD.1114 and FCD.1469 which were detailed and instructed for 33.0.VII rest angle and face plate will be correct for the left hand Silver Phantom except for the cut out for the spare wheel carrier which is on the left hand side.

This will enable Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/HH to complete the bonnet instructions.
