Will you please let me know the position with regard to the above trouble. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} is very anxious that we should, at the earliest possible moment, deal with Lord Swinton, the air Minister's car. No doubt Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swl has reported to you on his visit to Cricklewood. We were able to show him no less than seven cars all with this complaint, and although fine tuning produced a temporary improvement, a fast run on the road usually made the slow running as bad as before.
