Referring to our memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}1/AD.29.5.31. where we suggest that by interconnecting the hand brake and foot brake we can eliminate squeaks. We have found that after considerable use the light aplication of the hand brake causes a squeak, which leaves us in almost the same position as having squeaks from the foot brake. Nothing more, therefore, is being done with this scheme. The most hopeful scheme we have for overcoming rear brake squeaks, is the anti-squeak type shoe similar to the one we have standardised for the front. GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}'s brainchild, stillborn! Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
