Dear Sir.

Please accept my apologies for the delay in answering your kind letter of the 5th, Inst.Ref.RM {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Whym.10/AP. as I have been away from London on business which has taken my whole time. I have now the actual size of your existing Silencer from your London Office, but would be glad if you could let me have, in view of the fact that your Silencer is of the straight through type, the maximum length available.

Thanking you.
I am.
Yours faithfully.

For.
