As you may not be able to offer two Rolls-Royce chassis for the above experiment, might we suggest as an alternative that you send us one of the American chassis in your possession and let us build a light body on it for submission to a test on the lines indicated above. In the event of your approving of that proposal, perhaps you would agree to contribute towards the cost of the body to the extent of say fifty per cent. In any case we are very anxious to get down to something which will be mutually satisfactory and will be very glad indeed to be afforded the opportunity of helping you in every possible way.
