Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.
Derby.

Dear Sirs:-

I have your letter of the 17th inst., and have pleasure in sending you, by the same post a sample Tecalemit Grease Gun, a small tin of lubricant with our patent filling device, and a selection of Grease Plugs of the threads which I believe you use on your cars, i.e: 2---8/125, 2---10/100, 2---10/125.

I trust that you will give our system a thorough test, and I am convinced that you will appreciate the many advantages which it offers. The parts which I am sending you are of French manufacture, because we are not yet quite ready to supply our British made product. We are, however, moving into our London premises, 10 Little Portland Street, this week, and we shall soon be in a position to do so.

Please note that, in disconnecting the Gun nozzle from the Grease Plug, after having lubricated the bearing, it is necessary to give the handle of the Gun a turn or two backwards to take off the pressure, before slipping the nozzle off the plug.

Trusting to hear from you in due course, I remain,

Yours faithfully,

(sgd) R.A.Chalmers
