To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} r 219. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}9/KT.13.1.33. BENSPORT CYLINDER HEAD. As a result of our recent test, machining out the combustion chamber of the Bensport cylinder head, we have now established the best dimensions. The modifications required to E.59311 are shewn on Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}907. attached. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} is going to give us a final drawing incorporating the modifications shewn on Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}907, but in the meantime it is no use producing cylinder heads to E.59311. We want a cylinder head to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}907 as soon as we can get it, as we have only one fitted to the hot spots on C.13, which is to be fitted to the car, so that we cannot make a good job of the induction system. Furthermore, after our trepanning operation the head is now the wrong compression ratio. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
