W/S - Bk{A. Birkett - Commercial Manager}1. L300 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.6/KW.27.8.35. Re your Bk{A. Birkett - Commercial Manager}1.19/21.8.35. We are returning the 20/25 HP. Catalogue drawings. These seem to be fairly satisfactory. On drawing 'E' the centre exhaust manifold does not look quite correct. We suggest that a chassis at Lillie Hall would make the necessary alteration very simple. On the drawing 'H' the marking for the hand throttle control is rather strange. It appears to be marked "OFF" and "ON" instead of "CLOSED" and "OPEN". On drawing 'G' we suggest the unit marked "SWITCH" should be marked "AUTOMATIC RELAY SWITCH" the idea being to prevent anyone trying to operate it by hand and thus causing damage. All the remaining features appear to be correct. We also enclose a list of names to correspond with the lettering on drawing 'H'. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} | ||
