X 7660. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC. EFC1/AD27.7.29. We should be pleased if you would arrange for the commutator of our 40/50 dynamo bench-rig motor to be skimmed up, the mica between the segments under-cut, and the brush-gear overhauled. The commutator has developed black patches as a result of the sparking due to irregularities on its surface and faulty spring control of the brushes, until now it is quite serious. In view of the dynamo work we have to do, we should like this done at your earliest convenience. EFC. | ||
