NEW AXLE NEW PIVOTS C2 SERIES EXPT AXLE WITH DISC WHEELS V SERIES PIVOTS. ① 6° .616 ② 5° .554 ③ VERT. 3.5" ④ 2.5° ⑤ VERT 1.0" CENTRE POINT AXLES IN ORDER OF HEAVINESS OF THE STEERING HEAVIEST ON THE LEFT. (1 & 2) THESE ARE VERY MUCH HEAVIER THAN THE OTHER THREE. (3) PRESUMABLY THIS ARRANGEMENT SUFFERS SOMEWHAT FROM "CROSSWINDING" OF THE PIVOT DUE TO LARGE AMOUNT OF OFF-CENTRE. (4 & 5) THERE IS VERY LITTLE TO CHOSE BETWEEN THESE TWO AXLES FOR LIGHTNESS. POSSIBLY THE CENTRE POINT STEERING MAKES (5) THE VERTICAL PIVOT AXLE FEEL A LITTLE HEAVIER THAT IT OTHERWISE WOULD. | ||
