Contd. -2- EFC6/T10.12.26. similar type which had also developed brush noisiness, and which in this instance also we think may be due to a slight irregularity in the commutator which may be removed by skimming. It is only necessary for us to eliminate any tendency for the narrower brushes to produce noise, before a standardisation sheet for this item can be circulated, as we have found no other fault. We have now in all five of these machines, two of which have done a considerable amount of running. Three of these are at present on EHK chassis and a fourth is about to be placed on a chassis. There has been no other complaint except the one referred to. EFC. | ||
