The above of course only represents static
conditions but it is sufficient to illustrate
the point.

We strongly recommend that this matter
should receive very careful consideration, and if
possible the clearances for Continental Tourers
increased to within safe limits.

In our opinion the clearances required
for these cars should not be less than 3.250 when fully
loaded, with a plus limit only of, say .500.
